About Stack Tax
Stack Tax is a free browser puzzle game with a single core question: when do you cash out?
Every block you place earns points scaled by tower height — but also pays a 5% tax on your bankable score. Eventually the tax outpaces the earnings, and greed gets punished.
How it's made
Built with vanilla JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas. No frameworks, no dependencies. Under 50KB total.
The math
If your bankable score is B and your tower is at height H, the next block is net-positive only if 10·(H+1) > 0.05·B, i.e. H > B/200 - 1. The game is solvable but psychologically brutal.

- Global leaderboard (Daily Challenge)
- Endless mode with checkpoint cash-outs
